Encountering wildlife in Shanghai

The Shanghai Wild Animal Park has unveiled an exciting new opportunity for visitors to engage with wildlife. With the introduction of an innovative animal-feeding bus, guests can now come face to face with a variety of animals, including predators like lions, tigers, and brown bears.

The bus, originally a standard mini-bus, has been transformed to resemble a tiger, complete with a tiger face on the front and a vibrant orange exterior adorned with black stripes. While all the windows and doors are secured from within, small openings on both sides of the bus, each approximately the size of a ping-pong ball, enable passengers to safely feed approaching animals using a feeding pole from inside the vehicle.

Permitted to access specific areas of the park, the bus also provides passengers with an up-close view of the park's diverse wildlife.

Visitors holding valid entrance tickets can reserve this new service, available from 9:15 am to 4:30 pm.
